Assistant Store Manager – Devon Shoes | Lougheed Mall

Pay: $19.00–$23.00 per hour

Devon Shoes is a family-owned footwear retailer with over 30 years of experience serving customers throughout the Lower Mainland. We are looking for an energetic, reliable, and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Lougheed Mall.

This is a leadership position for someone who enjoys retail, takes pride in their work, and wants to play an important role in the success of the store. We are looking for someone who leads by example, develops staff, drives sales, and takes ownership of the business as if it were their own.

This role requires someone who can work independently and take initiative. We are looking for a leader who does not wait to be told what to do, but instead actively looks for opportunities to improve the business.

You should be able to assess the needs of the store, anticipate upcoming tasks, and forecast what needs to be completed throughout the day. Whether it's merchandising, inventory, cleaning, customer service, staff development, or operational tasks, you should be able to identify priorities, create action plans, and delegate responsibilities appropriately.

A successful Assistant Store Manager will know how to keep both themselves and their team productive, ensuring there is always meaningful work being completed while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
